It’s snowing out this morning.  So far it’s pretty steady and sticking and accumulating. 

 

 

We recently sold a home in Damascus to a buyer who was already pre-approved when he contacted Homefinders.com for help. 

The transaction was so smooth it should be interested to home buyers, real estate practitioners and sellers who have heard the horror stories about “Internet lenders”.  The mortgage broker was communicative, provided the requested pre-qualification letter, signed and with sufficient detail and phone number that the seller’s agent accepted it without question.  Once we got into the transaction, all communication was by e-mail and the appraisal and title work was ordered immediately upon providing the mortgage company with the ratified contract.   The buyer received a written loan commitment 4 days prior to the deadline in the contract.
