TAX RELIEF FOR HOME OWNERS: The Millage Rate for 2007-2208 is 4.9307 per $1,000
of assessed property value,13.4% under last year’s rate and 3% under the rollback rate of 5.0879.

NEW HOME PERMITS - Up for September 2007. 218 building permits issued September 5 through
October 5, 2007.
The market is still sluggish but, with new home builders leading the way in price reductions, the
new homes offered will offer a good alternative to individually priced resale homes.
Custom homes still sell well and are under construction in the Orlando area. Higher priced new
homes are selling at a faster rate than the lower priced models in new home communities.
Stoneridge Development has stated that it expects to build a number of $1,000,000 plus homes
in the near future.
